Saman Alias was born in Sulaemanyah the beautiful city in the Kurdistan Northern part

of Iraq.  At the end of 1980s took his first music lesson at a School of th Music Activities, under the advising of William Uhana, and Mohammed Hussain.  For many years he was working as a clarinetist, and a music composer with many different music groups in Sulaemanyah.

 Also he played clarinet with Sulaemanyah University String Orchestra.  Since 2001 he lives in Sweden.  In 2002 he started playing with Vikingarna  Wind Orchestra, and  Gothenburg  Symphony youth Orchestra.  In winter of 2006 he attended the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg to finish his undergrad studies as a clarinetist in World Folk Music, and he studied with many different and amazing teachers in and out of the University. 

Also as a clarinetist he could find his own still of playing Gypsy (Balkan), and Eastern music.  After he finished his Undergraduate degree, he is now studying his Master’s degree on the music of Zarthuast’s Religion.
